"Learn Soccer the Italian Way".

The Abruzzo Molise Heritage Society is pleased to be a sponsor of this new exciting program for children/families. Parents are welcome to consider a new childrens' (K thru G6) small games ("calcetto") Italian soccer indoor program to be offered at Holy Rosary Church/Casa Italian a of Washington DC at 595 Third Street, NW during Winter for 10 Fridays from 6pm to 9pm. A seamless "giocare" non-physical funtime program is offered for all ages at the same time for sibs not playing soccer. Dinner is provided for kids at nominal cost.

One of the main goals of this new youth soccer/playtime program is to keep families strong by creating a time for the parents of children to enjoy a few hours together on Friday evenings in the Winter months while leaving their children in care at HRC/Casa Italiana to have fun and learn some basic words and phrases in Italian. Additionally, any older, mature children (G7-HS) may earn community service as “counselors in training".

The program is in partnership with DC United for youth outreach, and all the children in the HRC Calcetto Italian Soccer program and their parents who may be certified soccer coaches will receive the full benefits of the program with DC United. Parking is available in the church lot from 6pm to 9pm for participating families.

Registration forms are available on-line at www.italiansoccer.us
