- Purpose of the Library - To facilitate exchange of books about Abruzzo and Molise among members
of the AMHS
- How this is achieved – Presently there is no specific depository of library books; such depository
is substituted by a list of available books on our web site. The potential borrower has to get in
touch (by e-mail, by phone, or at meetings) with the owner of the book and will make arrangement with the owner to borrow
(and return) the book at Society meetings or at after-church get-togethers. It is suggested that borrowings should be for a period no more than a month.
However, borrowing time and return arrangements are left at the discretion of the book owner. Responsibilities will rest solely on the
borrower-owner arrangements and bona fide.
- Available books - Members that have books on Abruzzo and Molise are solicited (at meetings, by e-
mail, through this AMHS web site) to provide a list of books they are willing to lend. The
list of books can be provided to the Webmaster - saba20705@yahoo.com via e-mail or at Society meetings.
The list of books (updated monthly) is available on the AMHS web site, and will also
be circulated hard-copy at AMHS functions.
- What to include on list of books - The list of books to be provided to the webmaster should have the following information
for each book as a minimum:
Title, Author, year of publication, whether the book is in Italian or English, e-mail or
phone number of owner. Books are limited to any subject concerning Abruzzo or Molise.
