Two Recent Books by Goffredo Palmerini

Abruzzo Gran Riserva is a follow-up volume to Oltre confine . Both books are collections of Palmerini’s recent articles (2006-2008) published in Italian language media all over the world. His writings make known the contributions to society of “the other Abruzzo,” the nearly one-and-a-half million emigrants of Abruzzese descent that have resettled all over the world.

Goffedro Palmerini, a journalist and politician native of Paganica (L’Aquila), writes mainly for the Italian media outside of Italy, and in Abruzzo. For nearly 30 years he has been involved in the politics of Abruzzo, as Consigliere comunale, Assessore and Vice Mayor of L’Aquila. Since 2006, he has been a member of the Regional Council of the Abruzzese people in the world (CRAM), made up by delegates from the Abruzzese communities from the five continents.
